Appraisal
Appraisals may be necessary for the following purposes:
- Purchase;
- Funding;
- Refinancing a mortgage or remodeling (refinancing);
- Estate planning;
- Sales;
- Insurance (Fixed Appraisal Civil Code Article 7:960 (7.17.2.24));
- Succession (death)
To obtain a mortgage, the vessel must be registered in the land registry.
Ex-vessels are defined as cargo ships that are out of service or old fishing vessels. Some of these vessels have been rebuilt so that one can comfortably make long voyages. They are also sometimes referred to as recreational vessels or sailing houseboats. Some of these vessels are rigged as sailing vessels.
A large number are encountered as sailing charter ships in the so-called "Brown Fleet."
Smaller ex-vessel conversions are also called recreational vessels.
The most common ship types include:
- Luxury motor vessel, better known as luxury motor;
- Tjalk;
- Clipper;
- Hagenaar;
- Westlander.
- Spits.

We agree on a fixed amount in advance. So that there are no surprises.
