Certificate of Examination/Community Inland Navigation Certificate

If you are sailing on inland waterways with a vessel longer than 20 meters or with a vessel with an underwater block volume (length x width x draft) of more than 100 m3, it is mandatory to be in possession of a Certificate of Inquiry (CVO) or a Community Inland Barge Certificate (CBB).

The choice of a CVO or a CBB depends on which sailing area is involved.

A TRIWV certificate can only be issued after an inspection by a recognized inspection body.

Duursma & Versluijs can assist you in obtaining or renewing a CoA/CBB certificate.
