Insurance appraisal / Insurance survey

Do you want to properly insure your houseboat, (sailing) houseboat or water villa?

Then determining the daily value and/or rebuilding value of the object and recording it is a requirement and a basis for good insurance. Of course, you don't want to pay too much or too little premium!

A correct valuation of your houseboat, houseboat or water villa is important in case of unexpected damage to the object. If the insured value does not correspond to reality, the insurer may reduce the claim amount.

Besides determining a daily and/or reconstruction value, we will also check whether the houseboat, (sailing) houseboat or water villa meets the insurance and general safety requirements. The general condition of the object will also be established.

The above is also called an underwriting inspection for insurers.

At the end of the inspection, all findings will be discussed with you.
The inspection report gives a complete picture of the property, including the daily and rebuilding value, so that it can be accepted with a houseboat insurer.
